QUIET SOUND NIGHT VI

the "quiet sound night" series of events
were put on by rj myato & others
throughout 2010-11
at joe hammer house
where he lived before he moved into roup

it was intended to be an extremely loose, chaotic kind of open mic
where anyone could play anywhere in the house
but acoustic or otherwise quiet performances were encouraged
as it was originally intended as a poetry reading
but never really ended up being one

there hadn't been one for about a year
when we decided to put one on at roup
on august 26th
to continue the tradition

this is who played:
RJ Myato solo guitar set, Tandem Electrics (from NYC), Brother Ong (gong performance), Lucy Goubert, My Function To A Man, Zach Mosel, Matt Wellins (who did both solo electronics and, later, a silent 'object performance'), The Wiretappers (Brian DiSanto vocals and Richard Jason various instruments), Satyr/Elfheim, Last of England (acoustic performance), Richard Kamerman (of Tandem Electrics, solo set), Coyotes By the Way with Alex Ledonne.
